PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a two color tin-solder plated TAB tape in which solder plating applied to outer leads is protected against pitting in the acid pickling process of electroless tin plating. SOLUTION: After a wiring pattern of copper leads is formed on a flexible insulating film 2, outer leads 5 is subjected to electroplating of solder while masking only inner leads 4 and after masking agent is stripped, the inner leads 4 is subjected to electroless tin plating. In such a method for producing a two color tin-solder plated TAB tape, composition of the electroplating solder for the outer leads 5 contains Sn by 60-70% and the inner leads 4 is subjected to electroless tin plating of 0.5-0.6μm.
