PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device and an optical information recording/reproducing device capable of detecting a tangential tilt high in sensitivity and also capable of detecting the tangential tilt even to postscript type and rewritable type optical recording media to which a signal is not preliminarily recorded. SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser 6, an objective lens 5 which condenses laser beams on a disk D and a photodetector 9 which receives reflected light from the disk D are prepared. The photodetector 9 is provided with light receiving parts 18-33 which individually receive each of both end parts in the radial direction R which are one end side of area in the tangential direction T of the disk D of reflected light from the disk D, the central part in the radial direction R which is the other end side of area in the tangential direction T of the disk D of reflected light from the disk D, the central part in the radial direction R which is one end side of area in the tangential direction T of the disk D of reflected light from the disk D and both end parts in the radial direction R which are the other end side of area in the tangential direction T of the disk D of reflected light from the disk D. |
