HALF BASE LAMP SOCKET AND LUMINAIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half base lamp socket and a lighting apparatus that can hold a lamp without any relation with lamp pin contact. SOLUTION: The socket is comprised of a socket body 2, a mounting board 3, a rotating axis 6 provided at the mounting board 3 and a groove hole 7 provided at the socket body 2. It further comprises a turning mechanism 4 which holds the socket body 2 on the mounting board 3 turnably and an engaging portion 5 having protrusions 24, 25 for restraining the turning of the socket body 2 from the lamp mounted position (d) of the socket body 2 to the lamp detached position (a). The socket body 2 turns between the lamp detached position and the lamp mounted position centered on the rotating axis 6 and is capable of sliding the engaging portion 5 detachably to the lamp insertion direction along the groove hole 7.
