The chain saw anti-bounce tool is composed of two slides (5) supported symmetrically on either side a chain guide (1). In the front part is an end stud (6) which is supported on the surface of the work piece. A stop (3) limits the displacement of the slides backwards toward the saw body and is locked in a hole in the guide.
