PURPOSE: An optical disc signal recorder for laser display is provided to record various signals for laser display by editing freely each characteristic of figures or characters for laser graphic display. CONSTITUTION: A sine wave generator(101) generates a sine wave for recording a signal. A step form wave generator(102) generates a step form wave for recording a signal. A synthetic wave generator(103) generates a synthetic wave for recording a signal. A computer data output portion(104) outputs laser graphic data of a computer. An electronic organ signal output portion(105) outputs an electronic organ signal. An editor(106) combines selectively signals output from the sine wave generator(101), the step form wave generator(102), the synthetic wave generator(103), the computer data output portion(104), and the electronic organ signal output portion(105). An oscilloscope(107) displays figure data and character data output from the editor(106) on a monitor. A laser head(109) displays the figure data and the character data output from the editor(106) on a screen. An analog recorder(110) stores recording data output from the editor(106) to a master tape(111). A disc mastering portion(112) forms a master disc by mastering the master tape(111).
