PURPOSE: A method for unifying common data of a compact base station controller(BSC) is provided to enhance the reliability of a system operation by being interworked between two CMPs(Compact-BSC Main Processors) by a change instruction of an operator and conforming the common data. CONSTITUTION: In case that an operator instructs that common data corresponding to a CMP are changed through a GUI(Graphic User Interface) instruction monitor(S1), common data stored in a storing device of a CMP itself are not changed and a state of an object CMP is confirmed(S2). If a response is received from the object CMP, it is judged that the object CMP is a normal state(S3). If the response is not received from the object CMP, it is judged that the object CMP is an abnormal state(S3). If it is judged that the object CMP is the abnormal state, the common data stored in the storing device of the CMP itself are changed and the performed result is reported to the operator(S4). If it is judged that the object CMP is the normal state, a common data change request instruction received from the operator is transmitted to the object CMP(S5). A response transmitted from the object CMP is confirmed. If a response in which the change of the common data fails is received from the object CMP, the common data stored in the storing device of the CMP itself are not changed and a common data change failure result of the object CMP is reported to the operator(S7).
