PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the working manhour is increased in changing welding works in a conventional configuration, and the working manhour is increased correspondingly to increase of the kinds of the welding conditions and the welding works. SOLUTION: This power source of the arc welding comprises a memory unit in which a plurality of the welding conditions including at least the welding current and the welding voltage are stored with an identification symbol given to each thereof, a bar code provided on a portion to be welded of a work, a bar code reader reading the bar code, a reception unit inputting a signal from the bar code reader, and a memory selection unit selecting the welding condition stored in the memory unit based on the signal from the reception unit, and the welding output is controlled based on the signal from the memory selection unit.
