PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrator of a long belt-like body washing machine capable of smoothly and certainly feeding a long belt-like body fed from a washing tank between dehydrating rollers and discharging it. SOLUTION: This dehydrator comprises a pair of dehydrating rollers 12, 13, and passes the long-sized band body supplied from the washing tank 1 to the dehydrator 2 through a belt type conveying mechanism between the dehydrating rollers 12, 13 for dehydrating. The supply sides of the dehydrating rollers 12, 13 are provided with a suction box 45 or an air ejecting pipe 46 for making air flow so as to separate the long-sized band body from guide rollers 38, 39 of the belt-type conveying mechanism. The discharge sides are provided with a guide-tape-type wind preventing mechanism for feeding the long-sized band body to a position spaced from a compression part S of the dehydrating rollers 12, 13 using guide tapes 55, 56.
