PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath for an egg collection needle which minimizes the risk of intravital secretion left from the previous use spilling in vivo even in the re-using of an egg collection guide by inhibiting the adhesion of the intravital secretion to the internal surface of a path of the egg collection guide. SOLUTION: A sheath 1 for an egg collection needle used for insertion into an egg collection needle guide path is to be inserted into an egg collection needle guide path 32 formed within an egg collection needle insertion guide 3 mounted on a probe 2 or into an egg collection needle guide path 82 provided for a probe 20. The sheath 1 for an egg collection needle is provided with a hollow body part 11 insertable into the egg collection guide path 32 while being made to let an egg collection needle 5 be inserted thereinto and a mounting holding part 13 to hold the mounted state thereof in the egg collection needle guide path 32. The sheath also can be taken off after being mounted in the egg collection needle guide path 32. |
