PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small air conditioner for an automobile provided with a filter of sufficient air passing area. SOLUTION: The filter 14 is cylindrically formed collecting dust included in air flowing in an air inflow port 29 of a case 12 of a blower 2 from inlet ports 17 to 19 of an intake box 3a, and this filter 14 is arranged so as to surround a circumference of the air inflow port 29 of the case 12 of the blower 2. A large air passing area of the filter 14 can be secured for reducing air-flow resistance, reducing pressure loss, and enhancing dust collecting ability.
