PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new organic compound having extreme sensitivity to visual light, and extreme luminescent ability, and useful for a photochemical polymerization, a dye laser and organic electroluminescence. SOLUTION: This benzopyran derivative has a specific structure and optical characteristics. The photosensitizer, the photopolymerizable composition, a laser-active material and a luminescent material for an organic electroluminescent element include the benzopyran derivative. The method for producing the benzopyran derivative is carried out by using a step for reacting a secondary amine with a coumarin compound having 1,3-diketone. |
