PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of image defect caused by the biased distribution of toner. SOLUTION: The detected value corresponding to the amount of the toner entered between 1st and 2nd pairs of electrodes 403 and 404 is outputted. When there is difference between a value detected by the 1st pair of electrodes 403 and a value detected by the 2nd pair of electrodes 404, it is decided as a biased distribution of the toner, then a stirring member 9e is driven to stir the toner, thus the image defect called void is avoided. |
