PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate recording and reproducing by executing optimum error correction processing. SOLUTION: The main data formed by subjecting information signals to be recorded to error correction processing including interleave processing and sub-codes including access information to this main data are recorded in recording tracks. The error correction information relating to the error correction processing is recorded in the sub-codes. As a result, the discrimination as to whether the error correction is executed by subjecting the signals to what kinds of the error correction processing is facilitated at the time of reproduction.
