PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method that is costwise advantageous because no detection circuit exclusively used for a channel occupy signal is required. SOLUTION: In the communication method where a transmission station confirms an occupied state of a communication channel and transmits an information signal 2, a unit modulation period is divided into a first half modulation period and a latter half modulation period, the transmission station transmits a channel occupy signal 3 consisting of the same carrier as that of the information signal for the first half modulation period and the latter half modulation period for a narrow band, applies spread spectrum processing to the information signal and transmits the signal with a broad band for only the first half modulation period, stops the transmission of the information signal for the latter half modulation period, a reception station uses an information signal demodulation system to cancel the channel occupy signal through synchronous subtraction taking a difference from the signal a half before the unit modulation period and uses a channel occupy signal demodulation system to delete the information signal component through delay multiplication with a signal a half before the unit modulation period. |
