PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which electrodes are pressed sufficiently so as to contact a base material in the case that a resistance welding is performed by clamping two kinds of members by upper and lower electrodes. SOLUTION: Materials to be spot-welded are strongly welded by a spot welding by rotating electrodes 18 and 19, whose end clamping the base materials is formed into a hemi-cyclic form, by electric motors 22 and 23 via speed reduction mechanisms 24 and 25.
