Method of and apparatuses for transmitting a plurality of messages (M1, ..., M7), of which at least some have different transmission priorities (P1, ..., P6), with a transmitter (TX) including a transmitter processor (TP), a transmitter memory (TM) and a transmitter buffer (TB) with transmitter buffer parts (TB1, ..., TB6) each being assigned to buffer message parts with a predetermined transmission priority, the method including the following steps: a. reading out parts of the messages (M1, ..., M7) and buffering them into transmitter buffer parts such that any message with a predetermined transmission priority is buffered in a transmitter buffer part with equal transmission priority; b. transmitting the parts of the messages (M1, ..., M7) from the transmitter buffer parts (TB1, ..., TB6) such that empty transmitter buffer parts or empty parts thereof are jumped over; c. repeating steps a and b until each message has been transmitted.
