PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an error correction coding-type transmission method on the basis of a plurality of transmission conditions by correcting the distribution of redundant information at a constant efficiency. SOLUTION: The transmission method includes a coding step adopting a given coding system, a step where a given puncturing system is employed, a decoding step where a transmission error is corrected by prescribed redundant information through the adoption of a given decoding system, a step where a given de-puncturing system is employed, a step where a transmission condition to decide the parameter characteristic of the transmission condition is observed, a puncturing selection step 2 where an optimum operating puncturing system is selected on the basis of at least one parameter, and a de-puncturing system selection step where a de-puncturing system corresponding to the optimum operating puncturing system is selected on the basis of at least one parameter. The entire efficiency in the coding step with respect to the puncturing step is constant.
