PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter for reducing the number of spare transmitters, simplifying constitution, performing miniaturization and reducing costs by sharing the spare transmitter. SOLUTION: In this transmitter, the state of plural active transmitters 2 is monitored by a monitoring device 13, and when a fault is present, a program inputted to the active transmitter 2 is outputted through a distributor 1 to the spare transmitter 3 and program output from the active transmitter 2 without the fault and the spare transmitter 3 is selectively switched and outputted to an antenna by an antenna multicoupler 12 with a switching function.
