PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easy and speedy execution of water proof work on a joint and ensure good water resistant and protective functions for the joint. SOLUTION: A joint 10 comprises a band-like addhesive water proof material 22 composed of water proof material having adhesion and flexibility, self- supportable band-like members 24, 26 provided with a plurality of recess grooves 27 having a narrower width than the member 22, being positioned at a widthwise center on a front surface of the member 22, and extending in the longitudinal direction, and a separation sheet provided with a center piece 32 having a narrower width than the member and positioned at a center, and a side piece 34 positioned in the vicinity of the side of the central piece 32 and extending outward of side end of the member 22.
