SILVER SALT OFFSET PRINTING ORIGINAL PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method for surface-treating an aluminum substrate to provide a silver salt offset printing original plate which enhances the reproducibility of a thin line image as well as the adhesiveness of a silver image and is excellent in the printing durability of thin lines and development latitude. SOLUTION: The silver salt offset printing original plate is obtained by disposing a silver salt photosensitive layer on an aluminum substrate subjected to electrolytic surface roughening with a treating solution containing physical developing nucleus forming metal ions.
