<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear drive mechanism which enables trimming of a thickness of whole mechanism contributing to a downsizing of a business machine and to an easy disassembly work. SOLUTION: In the gear drive mechanism in which a plurality of shafts 2-8 are cantilever mounted in a protruding manner on a base pedestal 18 in a label writer X, gears 9-15 are fitted engageably on the shaft 2-8 and then the specifically formed drive shafts 5, 7, 8 selected from the shaft 2-8 are driven, the gear drive mechanism comprises: a groove 23 formed on the periphery of the end of shaft 2, 4 at least selected from the shafts 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 other than the specified shafts, a washer 25 of ring form with one radial slit fitted in the groove 23 as an anti-pullout for gear, and a recess 27 arranged partly on the side face of the gear 14 reaching up to the washer 25.</p> |
