PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supplying device for a diesel engine capable of supplying proper fuel at the time of an excessive load operation. SOLUTION: In the fuel supplying device for the diesel engine wherein a maximum torque restricting tool 27 for restricting a maximum torque-up position is disposed on a governor lever 2, an elastically pressed spring 87 is disposed adjacent to the maximum torque restricting tool 27. The elastically pressed spring 87 is functioned including a time shifted from an all load position to a torque-up position, and it is suppressed by the elastically pressed spring 87 that a fuel amount regulating part 10 of a fuel injection pump 9 is excessively operated to an increasing side through a governor input lever 5 by rapid change of governor force.
