INSPECTION METHOD AND INSPECTION DEVICE FOR TONE OF COLOR OF BUILDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise inspection accuracy by exactly measuring and judging tint (paint color) and gloss (luster) on the surface in production process. SOLUTION: By casting light from a variable angle illumination device 9 arbitrarily controllable of light casting angle to the surface 2a of a building material, a vertically fixed camera 3 fixed in a vertical direction against the surface 2a of the building material and a variable angle camera 4 capable of arbitrarily changing photographing angles to the surface 2a are used to photograph from two different angles. With using an image processing, the images are analyzed and processed to measure the tint on the surface 2a of the building material.
