PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibility for a driver to touch an operation member of an automatic transmission at other times than operating it, enlarging a cabin space, enabling shift lock for restraining the operation member not to be operated for preventing-erroneous operation, and rationally facilitating releasing the shift lock. SOLUTION: At a peripheral part of a key rotor (operation member of a switch device to control start and stop of an engine in a vehicle) 4, a select dial 24 for shift position selecting operation to an automatic transmission is provided, a lock member 17 to normally restrain the select dial 24 not to be operated is provided, and between the lock member 17 and the key rotor 4, inclined surfaces 21, 22 to change axial movement of the key rotor 4 by pushing operation into displacement to release restraint to the select dial 24 by the lock member 17 are provided.
