Bus bar with terminal pin

The current bus (1) has a connection pin (3) for electrical connectors perpendicular to the plane of one of its main surfaces. The connection pin is permanently fitted into a holder opening (2) in the current rail's main surface by shape locking (4). The holder opening is arranged centrally in the main surface and the pin can be welded to the rail, e.g. by laser welding. Where the holder opening is through the rail, the pin can protrude slightly above or below the surface of the current rail.
