PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system, a receiver and a method for receiving a received signal subjected to DQPSK modulation and further additionally subjected to channel encoding. SOLUTION: The received signal is demodulated according to the principle of incoherent difference detection and is subjected to channel decoding while taking reliability value into consideration after being received. The channel decoding is improved because an improved reliability value is normalized with respect to reference quantity obtained on the basis of the noise power of the received signal.
