<p>An optical disk apparatus in which the tracking is controlled by auxiliary moving a feed during a kick seek, wherein the reference feed feeding amount and feed feeding amount correction are calculated from the offset of a lens immediately before a kick seek and the number of tracks on the optical disk over which the lens moves during the kick seek, the correction is added to the reference feed feeding amount or subtracted from it depending on the direction of the kick seek, to determine the feed feeding amount and the feed is auxiliary moved by the feed feeding amount simultaneously with the kick seek. Thus the tracking after the kick seek can be stably performed.</p> |
