METHOD FOR PRODUCING TRANSPARENT HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transparent honeycomb structure which is thin and has a large surface area per unit volume and a desired shape of an opening part. SOLUTION: In this method, a honeycomb molding is obtained by extrusion- molding a mixture containing raw material powder which becomes transparent by baking, and the transparent honeycomb structure is obtained by baking the molding.
