PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone set with excellent luminance, saturation and enhanced visibility. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1a is provided with operation keys that are placed under a front case 101 containing electronic components in its inside, a protection window 102 provided onto the front case 101, a liquid crystal display panel 120 provided in the inside of the front case 101 and whose display side is opposed to the protection window, a light guide board 132 that is placed between the liquid crystal display panel 120 and the protection window 102 and emits an introduction light to the liquid crystal display panel 120, and an LED 131 placed at the operation keys and acting like a light source introducing the light to the light guide plate 132.
