PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to more easily watch an image displayed on the display part of a radio telephone set such as portable telephone. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 1 has an external interface 3 capable of outputting the display data of the image to be displayed on a display part 2. A portable display 1 is connected through a connecting cable 20 to this external interface. The display data outputted from the external interface are inputted to the portable display and displayed on a liquid crystal display 12 of this display after expanded displaying processing or prescribed line shifting processing in the case of sentence data.
