PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device which enables even general persons to easily assemble the device and dispenses with a lower manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This illumination device is formed by deforming long-sized illumination materials 1 to suitable shapes and fixing their proper points onto a net 2. The assembly kit of the illumination device may be composed of the deformable long-sized illumination materials 1, the net 2, drafts 3 drawing suitable patterns and clasps 4 for fixing the long-sized illumination material 1 onto the net 2. The method for assembling the illumination device consists in laying the drafts 3 drawn with the suitable patterns under the net 2, deforming the ling-sized illumination materials 1 according to the patterns of the drafts 3 and fixing the suitable several points of the ling-sized illumination materials 1 by means of the clasps 4 onto the net 2.
