PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive communication device of a simple constitution which can deal with a communication system of a fixed duplex interval, can easily set the transmitting and receiving frequency and also can attain the duplex calls between slave units. SOLUTION: The signals of transmitting frequencies fta and ftb sent from slave units A and B are received at a receiving part 20 and a signal processing part 40 inverts the entire frequency spectrum including the signals received and undergone the frequency conversion at the part 20. Then the received signals included in the frequency spectrum inverted at the part 40 are undergone by the frequency conversion at a transmitting part 30 and retransmitted as the signals of receiving frequencies fra and frb of the units A and B.
