PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent composition for corrugated cardboard base board causing no surface quality deterioration during original paper take-up, because of its excellent in suppressing paper dust emission, water resistance, and tackiness, compared with the conventional water soluble coating agent. SOLUTION: This coating agent composition for corrugated cardboard base board contains an emulsion copolymer of which pH is regulated to 6-12 by adding an alkali solution to an emulsion copolymer containing 10-40 wt.% ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer.
