PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power consumption by automatically preventing the unnecessary lighting of a liquid crystal display in a camera equipped with the liquid crystal display and an eyepiece finder. SOLUTION: In this camera equipped with the liquid crystal display for displaying an image by a photographing lens system as an electronic image and the eyepiece finder for observing it as an optical image, a detection means for detecting the use of the eyepiece finder is provided at the eyepiece window part of the eyepiece finder, and the display of the liquid crystal display is turned off at the time of detecting the use of the eyepiece finder. |
