PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the distance between a gripper and bisected molding flasks while maintaining clamping force in order to evade the damage to a contact lens and the bisected molding flasks in manufacturing the contact lens and to easily align the gripper to the bisected molding flasks. SOLUTION: A spacer (11) is arranged between the gripper (1) for holding the contact lens (6) and the bisected molding flasks (9), by which the need for exactly aligning the gripper to the bisected molding flasks is eliminated. In addition thereto, the central arrangement of the contact lens on the gripper is improved and the enhancement of the accuracy of image processing is made possible.
