PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal oscillator where a parasitic capacity can be reduced and a layout area can be reduced while securing the stability of oscillation operation by reducing the fluctuation of the ON resistance of a MOS transistor related with the selection of feedback resistance at the time of oscillation. SOLUTION: The first feedback circuit 12 connects a feedback quantity adjusting circuit 121 in parallel to the feedback resistance R10. The circuit 121 connects two feedback resistances R11 and R12 in series and disposes a MOS transistor Q11 between the resistance R11 and the resistance R12. Since the MOS transistor Q11 is provided between the resistance R11 and the resistance R12, the fluctuation of the source voltage of the MOS transistor Q11 can be reduced at the time of oscillation and the hourly fluctuation of the ON resistance can be reduced.
