PURPOSE: A reinforcing structure for a vehicle center pillar is provided to effectively correspond to impact force applied to an upper part of ribs of a passenger in case of side collision, by mounting a reinforcing element to the center part of a center pillar which is relatively short in a distance between the vehicle body and the passenger, thereby promoting the safety of passengers. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing structure for a vehicle center pillar includes a reinforcing element(16) mounted between an inner panel(10) and an outer panel(12), wherein the reinforcing structure includes a box type main body part(18) of which a side is opened, and a surface contacting part(20) integrally extended and folded outwardly from an edge portion of the main body part for contacting an inner surface of the inner panel to be joined together.
