PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistory parking space, by which a car can be lifted and lowered without using an expensive control system having high accuracy. SOLUTION: At least one intermediate-stage parking space (S2) is constituted at the upper section of a floor face (F), an intermediate-stage sliding frame (30) is slid in the longitudinal direction or the cross direction between the place of the intermediate-stage parking space and a pallet lifting-lowering place (A), where approximately the whole of at least the intermediate-stage sliding frame is projected to the front or the side from the intermediate-stage parking space, an intermediate-stage pallet (70) is lifted and lowered to the intermediate-stage sliding frame at the pallet lifting-lowering place, and the car is loaded on an intermediate-stage pallet and housed in the intermediate-stage parking space.
