PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a front face and an upper face of a faucet body from being overheated by hot water flowing in a hot water passage in the faucet body in a single lever type combination faucet. SOLUTION: In the single lever type combination faucet having a hot and cold water mixing part on the upper side of the faucet body 10 and having a directional control valve part for switching an outflow port of mixed water on the lower side of the mixing part, a sideways passage 30C of water is formed so as to cover a sideways passage 30H of hot water of the faucet body 10 and a vertical passage 46 of the mixed water, and the faucet body 10 is cooled by flowing water.
