<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing toner having a small particle size and having excellent electrification rising property and electrification stability and good image characteristics for a long time, and to provide a method of manufacturing the toner. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electrostatic latent image developing toner consists of a process of preparing a color resin solution by dissolving and/or dispersing at least a binder resin and a coloring agent in a water-insoluble organic solvent; a process of preparing an emulsion by emulsifying and dispersing the color resin solution in a water-based dispersion liquid in which an antistatic agent is dissolved and/or dispersed or a process of forming an emulsion by adding a water-based dispersion liquid in which an antistatic agent is dissolved and/or dispersed to the color resin solution to convert the phase and to emulsify; and a process of removing the water-insoluble organic solvent from the emulsion. The electrostatic latent image developing toner is manufactured by this method.</p> |
