PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary feeder having improved durability without causing loads by galling and biting, achieving a lighter weight and energy saving, allowing air cooling in a rotary chamber and preventing the deposition of powdery and granular material or others. SOLUTION: Air passages 22, 19 communicated with each other and connected to a compressed air supply source via an air pipe 28 are formed in a rotary shaft 6 and vane 7, respectively, and tip 7' of the vane 7 is formed a blow nozzle 20 which is open toward an inner periphery wall face 4 of the rotary chamber 3 at required spaces. An air supplied from the air supply source is blown from the blow nozzle 20 to form an air curtain in a space to the inner periphery wall face of the rotary chamber 3.
