DRIVE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive for a vehicle attached easily even in a narrow space such as a vehicular underfloor. SOLUTION: Front wheels 26 of the vehicle is driven by an engine 20. An electric motor 30 drives rear wheels. The engine 20 drives first and second generators 40, 44 to generate electrical energy. The first generator 20 charges a battery, and the second generator 44 supplys electric power to the motor 30. The generators 40, 44 are installed in the vicinity of the engine inside an engine room, and the motor is arranged in the vicinity of a differential gear integrated with a deceleration mechanism positioned in the substantial central part of the rear wheels.
