The opening (22) in the head part (20) of the fitting for light to pass through is located in a side of this part adjoining the side (21) used to connect this part to a corresponding side (13) of the socket part (10). The head part can be releasably mounted in the socket part in two positions, the first position having the engagement section plane (P4) extending essentially parallel to the light opening plane (P1), and the second position having these two planes extending essentially at right angles to each other. A light source extending into the head part is supported by the socket part. The socket part has an engagement section for securing it to the surface on which the fitting is mounted. The head part is box-shaped and used to support the socket part. The side of the socket part for connecting to a corresponding side of the head part defines a plane (P3) extending at ca. 45 deg. relative to the light opening plane. |
