PURPOSE: A large-scaled LCD device is provided to form a large-scaled LCD device by using small-scaled LCD devices. CONSTITUTION: A color filter including a black matrix is formed on an upper substrate. The upper substrate is combined with a lower substrate by using a sealant. The sealant is a transparent material and has the same refractive index as the upper or the lower substrates. Each side of LCD panels(121a,121b) is overlaid as much as a predetermined portion when tiling the LCD panels(121a,121b). Transparent dummy substrates(123a,123b) are adhered to a right side of the upper LCD panel(121a) and a left side of the lower LCD panel(121b) except for the overlaid portion.
