APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING DIET USING INTERNET

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for supporting a diet using the Internet is provided to detect suitable diet therapy according to individual physical constitutions and shapes, to make out relevant diet schedules, and to individually transfer them to users through the Internet, so that they can carry out diets more exactly and easily. CONSTITUTION: A user accesses a diet support server through his PC using the Internet and inputs his ID and password(S1). The server searches a member information DB to confirm whether the connected user is a member(S2). In case that it is judged whether the user is not a member, the server provides a membership registration procedure to him(S3). If the user becomes a member as he inputs a new ID and a new password according to the membership registration procedure, the user is stored in the member information DB. If subscription is completed, the server provides a diet schedule menu to the user so that he can input necessary information for his diet schedule(S4). If the user inputs his physical features and life patterns, the server creates the most effective and convenient diet schedule through a pattern classifier using the inputted data(S5). The server stores the diet schedule created through the pattern classifier in the member information DB(S6) and registers it in a diet schedule management part(S7).
