PURPOSE: A counterflow preventer of a drain is provided to prevent discharged water and bad smell by certainly closing a drain. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing a counterflow of a drain comprises: a girth frame(20) inclined through an inner girth of a vertical passage between an inlet and an outlet; and an opening/closing pipe(30) arranged a first and a second opening/closing plates(31,32) around a rotating shaft(33) and to open/close a passage by sticking/separating to the girth frame. The second opening/closing plate is heavier than the first opening/closing plate to be rotated for closing the passage by sticking to the girth frame. Thereby, small foreign substances are discharged with discharged water and the counterflow of the discharged water and bad smell is continuously prevented.
