PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device utilizing a light source with an easily manufacturable LED connected to a light source rod. SOLUTION: A light source rod 10 and a light guide plate 20 are formed on a clear resin plate like a PMMA-made plate as one body through a space 30 having closed end on both sides in parallel with the light source rod, and an LED 40 is connected to the light source rod on the end surface in the longitudinal direction. Surfaces excepting connection surface of LED and the light source rod are reflection-treated not to leak light outside. A left side surface 11 of the light source rod 10 is a blasted surface 11' and minute roughness is formed. A reflector 15 is arranged outside the blasted surface. Light entering into the light source rod from LED is emitted from a right side surface 12 of the light source rod 10 to the space 30, then enter the entrance surface of the light guide plate 20. |
