The input device has at least two hand-held units enabling navigation in and interaction with the multidimensional virtual world and a computer unit that processes the navigation and interaction entries. The hand devices communicate via a radio interface with a base unit connected to the computer unit and the base unit supports parallel communications with the hand units.
