PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun shade which can manually handle a cover folded and stored on the top of an automobile in two actions without using any gears or clutches, and a fastener to automatically fix the cover when the cover is stored. SOLUTION: The sun shade using a rotating plate is stretched only over a driver's seat side and a front side in a normal condition. The soft rotating plate is closely attached to the roof of the automobile by using a cloth in place of a hinge. The cover is fixed by a magnet or an adhesive tape. All windows are covered by four plates, if necessary. A space between the plates is covered by a stretched cloth.
