PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the cleaning efficiency and the durability of a card cleaning device. SOLUTION: A card carrying route 3 is formed by a carrying roller 10 or 13 and a pinch roller 20 or 23 abutted oppositely to the roller 10 or 13. The roller 10 or 13 is rotated by transmitting the rotation of a motor 40 being a driving source through timing belts 42, 43, 44, 45. A cleaning roller 50 is positioned on the upper side opposite to the roller 10 while interposing the route 3 and rotated by transmitting the rotation of the roller 10 through a timing belt 57. A pinch roller 60 abutted oppositely to the roller 50 is freely rotated in the direction driven by the rotation of the roller 50 but the rotation to a card carrying direction A of the roller 60 is controlled. The mutual press- contact force between the rollers 10 and 20 is set larger than that between the rollers 50 and 60.
